Course Structure & Assessment

Participants will have instant access to the course as soon as they sign up.

Learners will have to pass a short multiple choice assessment at the end of each lesson in order to move forward to the next. The culmination of all the passed lessons will result in a pass for the course and link to download your ‘Certificate of Completion.’

To complete the assessment candidates must ensure their computer meets the minimum requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the course structured?

There are a total of 7 modules in the course, each with 2 – 13 individual topics. Each module includes text and videos, followed by a quiz. Before moving on to another section learners are required to successfully complete the section before.

Do I have to complete the course in one go?

No, you are welcome to complete the course in stages. We recommend that you complete each lesson in one go, which will then be saved, enabling you to move onto the next section when you are ready.

How long do I have to complete the course?

You have 3 months from the date of purchase to complete the training. If you need more time please contact us by phone or email.

Can the course be done in another language other than English?

We understand that many people completing the course might not have English as their first language.

The course has been structured so that it is easy to understand and is broken into short sections so that it is easy to digest.

What happens when I finish the course?

Once you have completed the course you will receive a certificate of completion from Babyem, which is endorsed by the British Association of Au Pair Agencies. You will be able to show this certificate to agencies and parents to demonstrate your knowledge of topics.

What is the benefit of doing the training?

Our course has been designed by a team of experienced childcare professionals, as well as drawing on the experience of Au Pairs, host families and BAPAA approved agencies in the UK.

The training addresses a range of topics including child safety, healthy eating, child development and activities, building relationships with children and young people, caring for babies and young children safely, managing behavior and working in partnership with parents.

Can I take the course even if I have started working with a host family?

Our training course will give you lots of practical tips and guidance when caring for children and young people. Therefore, even if you have started working with a host family the training will develop your learning in areas such as child development, managing behavior, working in partnership with parents and child safety.

What is your refund policy?  

Once you have agreed to our company terms and conditions of signing up to the Babyem Au Pair Training you will not be eligible for a refund for the course. If you are experiencing any technical difficulties or have any questions throughout the training please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Is the course accredited?

The course is not accredited, however, it is endorsed by the British Association of Au Pair Agencies (BAPAA) and the AuPairWorld.
