Emergency First Aid Course
Our Emergency Paediatric First Aid Course meets the new (March 2017) EYFS / OFSTED guidelines. This interactive course will give you the confidence, skills and knowledge to take care of a baby or child in the event of a first aid emergency.
This Emergency First Aid Course is ideal for anyone caring for babies and children including parents, grandparents, nannies and Au Pairs or those within Early Years who are working as part of a team with other staff who hold a Full Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Legislation from the Department of Education requires all newly qualified level two and three child carers to have either an emergency paediatric first aid or full paediatric first aid certificate. To view the latest EYFS guidance 2017 please click here.
This course can be upgraded to the full Paediatric First Aid if required and all learners will receive a paediatric first aid manual which covers the full first aid syllabus.
- Childminders or those working alone must take the Full Paediatric First Aid Course
- Nannies or Au pairs wishing to register on the OFSTED voluntary register will need to complete the Blended Paediatric First Aid course
Enthusiastic and informative trainer. I have enjoyed the practical parts e.g. CPR, bandaging, and dealing with shock in particular. It was a very interesting day!
The instructor was very informative, straight to the point and quick. What I’ve learnt today and in the booklet will be very helpful.
