Our unique Nanny Ofsted registration service supports childcare's registering on the voluntary part of the childcare register. Through our one stop service we provide:

How quickly does it take to register with Ofsted as a nanny?
Our Ofsted compliant 1 day Paediatric First Aid and Common Core Skills course take place over one weekend and certificates are issued on the day. We are able to check documents for the DBS on the day of courses and support candidates to complete the application form.
Candidates can book courses and the DBS check online HERE. (If you have already completed certain courses you can skip the various steps). Please note that candidates are now required to complete the DBS application before starting the (CR1) Ofsted application form.
Register with Ofsted as a Nanny
Step 1 – Book the DBS and schedule a time to meet with Babyem
The Disclosure and Barring Service now carries out the function that was performed by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA). DBS (formerly CRB) checks are meant to prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups such as children. Babyem provide a quick and efficient DBS service.
You will need to book a time to meet with a Babyem advisor (times can be booked online). Scheduled appointments take place on the same weekend as courses in central London, however, weekday appointments can be arranged please contact us directly on: 020 8986 9008.
Will be emailed login details to complete the DBS and will be required to complete personal details.
Before meeting with us you will need to prepare all ORIGINAL documents.
We need to view an original passport or EU Resident Card, original bank statement or proof of address not older than 3 months. We also check addresses you have had within the last 5 years, City of birth, any previous sir names.

Step 2 – Book the Common Core Skills Course
To register on the voluntary part of the OFSTED Childcare Register, child – carers are required to have attended training in the Common Core Skills and Knowledge training. The 6 Common Core Of Skills and Knowledge principles set out the basic skills, knowledge and values required by people whose work with children, young people and families. Courses take place in London and Surrey on a monthly basis. Cost: £120pp incl VAT Time: 10am – 5.30pm
Step 2 – Book the Paediatric First Aid
To register on the voluntary part of the OFSTED Childcare Register candidates are required to complete an Ofsted compliant Paediatric First Aid Course. Babyem have a reputation for delivering interactive and fun courses. The course focuses on emergency scenarios that are faced by nannies, housekeepers and childcare professional who work with young children. Our tutors are members of the Association of First Aiders. Courses take place in London on a monthly basis. Cost: £85pp incl VAT Time: 10am – 4pm

Step 4 – Complete the Ofsted application form and source Public Liability Insurance
