I Worked with a first-time mum who delivered a baby boy at 38 weeks via caesarean section. I supported and cared for mum and circumcised baby in recovery and treatment of Jaundice for the baby. Assisted mum to establish a good feeding routine, sleep training, sterilising baby bottles, colic issues. Trained mother about correct breast latching, nappy changing, umbilical care, bathing baby. Advise on bonding between mum and baby. Counselling and educating mum on health eating, breastfeeding and general newborn care. Encouraged mum to focus on herself and to do possible excises. Making sure that baby burps after feeding and settling baby to sleep. Advise on bottle and breastfeeding. Encouraged mum to feed baby every after 2-3 hours and to monitor baby diaper.
